There is something here to suit everyone's tastes buds from Asian to pizza, fine dining to a bistro. Great sports bar, friendly staff and plenty of pokies, it's actually more like a casino.

We are a group of 10-15 who meet up every couple of months. This was the first time at Dee Why. Despite having a bus stop at the front, we found that not all buses stop here so we opted out of the public transport exercise. There was plenty of parking at the club.
Many of these clubs offer cheap memberships with discounts on the food so you basically save the membership cost. Here it was $5 for two years. I joined up and with my dining buddy we "saved"over $5 with the food. We were there for lunch on a Thursday.
The ladies at the till weren't the jolliest. I rolled up to the bar to buy drinks only to be told dismissively to put my order at the other end where coffee was being made. When I went down to the coffee machine I was asked what I wanted, I was then waved to the till halfway back to the bar. It was like playing a game of draughts with people who did not want to be there.
You can ask for a schooner of lemon, lime and bitters but you will get a middy with no explanation as to why. I did that twice. Service seemed to warm a bit when I ordered lunch then weirdly, it was sweetness and light when I returned to order coffee and cake.
There was plenty of room for us all in the covered verandah area and we all got our meals in a timely manner. The meals weren't cheap (even with the discount) but they were OK. My dining buddy had sausages but was hungry enough to eat my salad. I had a prawn mornay which was prawns in a cheese sauce served in a little dish with crumbs on the top. It was nice. Not a fan of the salad which was lettuce, more lettuce, a couple of slivers of onion and one (maybe 2) baby tomatoes cut up.
The desserts were OK and the coffee a little weak.

Singapore noodles price keeps going up but now serving is getting smaller with less chicken and prawns... not happy about my favourite dish I have been having once a month for the last 6 years. Very disappointed tonight

I agree about the Singapore noodles. Used to be a very big dish ... no longer ... last time mine was light-on on the chicken and had none of the usual capsicum. Lift your game guys.

Excellent club. For an RSL club, the decor is modern and very attractive. Staff are lovely. There's a number of venues inside depending on what you're looking for. If you want a casual meal head to The Bistro or The Asain. Aqua is a lovely cafe that does Italian meals on the weekend. For something more upmarket try Flames. If you're just looking for a nice drink there's Match Bar with lots of screens showing sports, and KENO & TAB facilities. Drink prices very reasonable. They also have good shows in their auditorium featuring well-known acts. Can definitely recommend for a night out with friends or family. Large gaming room if you want a punt. One of the best clubs in Sydney. I love it.
